At Local Leaf, we believe that healthy eating doesn’t have to be complicated. I noticed people were looking for easy ways to pack more nutrients into their diet, so I started Local Leaf as a fun little hobby in my backyard greenhouse. Microgreens are the perfect solution—tiny greens with big flavor and loads of vitamins, grown with just water and soil—no fancy stuff needed!
What are microgreens?
Microgreens are young, edible plants harvested at an early stage of growth, typically when the first true leaves appear. They are packed with flavor, nutrients, and antioxidants, often used as garnishes or in salads, sandwiches, and smoothies.
What can I do with microgreens?
You can add microgreens to salads, sandwiches, and wraps for a burst of flavor and nutrition. They also make great toppings for soups, eggs, or smoothies.
Why eat microgreens?
Eating microgreens boosts nutrition and adds flavor to dishes. They are rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, supporting overall health.
